Interfaith CarePartners offers personal and published guidance to congregations and organizations interested to build upon its decades of experience, expertise, and practices in congregation-based volunteer caregiving utilizing a team structure.  Materials published internally include a program development manual, team toolkit, and continuing education modules.  The most recent book providing a theological justification for congregational caregiving and a description of the Care Team program is Sustaining Presence: A Model of Caring by People of Faith by Earl E. Shelp and Ronald H. Sunderland (Nashville: Abingdon Press, 2000).  Sustaining Presence is available from Interfaith CarePartners or a local religious book store.
